Ford to introduce self-driving car at CES
Ford will unveil a self-drive car at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month, according to Bloomberg.
The automaker will make the vehicle at its Nevada headquarters, the automaker said in a statement.
The announcement follows a $1 billion investment in Ford Motor Co., the world’s largest auto manufacturer.
Ford has previously unveiled its autonomous vehicles at the Frankfurt Auto Show, but it has not announced its plans for the Las Vegas show.
The company previously announced its intention to make a self of autonomous vehicles.
Ford said it would use the technology to create a fleet of vehicles that will travel between cities, rather than just the self-driven model that was tested in Michigan in 2018.
Ford is also developing a self driving electric vehicle.
